Modularity
All Swisslog-Accalon products are truly modular. The specification can be tailored to each application´s requirements - using standard, proven modules. This speeds up design, purchasing and manufacturing operations and ensures reliability and performance. The tailor-made solution is a standard product!
The modular approach is applied to mechanical design, electrical specifications and control systems. This has added benefits for the Systems Integrator: it makes Swisslog-Accalon an effective partner during the development of the solution, able to quickly produce accurate specifications and proposals. The modular approach also allows you to define interfaces to suit the overall system structure.
Configuration tools
The full benefit of a modular approach can only be gained if it is backed up by smart tools for configuration. Using the Configurator, Swisslog-Accalon´s application engineers will develop the specification, in detail, to fit the requirements. The Configurator ensures fast and accurate responses - the system will only allow functioning designs and proven components choices.
Efficiency on site - successful projects
All Swisslog-Accalon products are factory commissioned and tested before delivery to site. Thanks to their modular design, SRMs can be run in our factory-commissioning area and all functions are tested and test protocol issued. Conveyors are delivered in sections that are complete with sensors and controls. They are pre-wired in our factory; on site it is simply a matter of "plug and play".
